Visit the website of this customer-focused rate-a-retailer campaign conducted by “Stand for Christmas” (by Focus on the Family Action), where consumers can post their ratings based on their shopping experiences.  The clear message is: don’t spend your Christmas dollars at the stores owned by Naughty retailers who don’t acknowledge Christmas.

Lowe’s Celebrates Christmas!

October 17, 2009

Lowes is ready to celebrate Christmas this year.  I received their 10-19-09 weekly ad in the mail and was very pleased to see Christmas prominently displayed on the front cover:

Next to the photo of a 7’ Airblown Santa in the upper right corner of the cover, the text reads, “See our Christmas decor now in store.”

This is progress from their 2007 debacle when they referred to their Christmas Trees as “Holiday trees”.

Send them a note of encouragement and tell them you’ll shop for your Christmas decorations at Lowes this year.
